Towing near me in Morris County, NJ: six regions, 39 towns, real drive times from Linden, and the seven counties around the county line
Looking for towing near you in Morris County? This page groups every town into the six regions our dispatcher works, in order of distance from our yard in Linden. After that come the highways that connect them and the seven counties on Morris County's borders.
Morris County towing by region, closest to farthest from our Linden yard
The fee and the dispatcher are the same in every Morris County region; the drive grows from about half an hour on the Route 24 side to an hour or more at the western lakes, and the dispatcher always quotes from whichever truck is nearest.
Chatham, Madison and Florham Park
The Route 24 towns, the colleges and the corporate campuses. Roughly 30 to 35 minutes from the yard, the quickest part of the county for us.
Morristown and Morris Township
The Green, the hospital, the station and the I-287 exits. About 40 minutes out, straight up Route 24.
Parsippany, Hanover, East Hanover and Whippany
Where I-80 crosses I-287, and Route 10's office parks. About 40 to 45 minutes, and a common stop for trucks already heading north.
Denville, Rockaway and Dover
Route 46, Route 15, the mall and the Saint Clare's campuses. An hour or more, and the window is quoted that way.
Montville, Lincoln Park, Boonton and Kinnelon
Route 23, Route 202 and I-287 north past the reservoir. A longer run on the county's northeast edge, easy to book ahead.
The western lakes and Mount Olive
Lake Hopatcong, Budd Lake and the far end of I-80. Our longest drive in the county, best handled as scheduled work.
Name the road, the town or a landmark, and the dispatcher finds you on the board and gives a real window.

If the car still moves, get it somewhere calm: a side road, a parking lot, a wide driveway. Where you stop does not change the price, and a truck loads faster away from traffic. If it will not move, hazards on, step away from the lanes, and tell the dispatcher the road, the direction and the last exit or business.
Stopped on one of these roads? Call, and the dispatcher tells you where to stand.
Call from the roadThe seven counties bordering Morris County, and how our trucks cross into each
Morris County touches Essex and Union to the east, Somerset and Hunterdon to the south, Warren to the west, Sussex to the northwest and Passaic to the north, and any tow that starts or ends in one of them is priced as booking fee plus mileage on the same fleet.
Essex County
East over the Passaic River from Chatham, Florham Park, East Hanover and Montville into Millburn, Livingston, Roseland and Fairfield. Route 24, Route 10 and I-280 carry trucks across.
Union County
Southeast from Chatham and Long Hill into Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights. Our Linden yard is in this county, so these are short trips home for a truck.
Somerset County
South from Harding, Mendham, Chester and Long Hill toward Bernardsville, Bedminster and the Warren Township line. Route 202 and Route 206 are the usual roads.
Passaic County
North past Kinnelon, Butler, Riverdale, Lincoln Park and Pequannock into Wayne, Bloomingdale and West Milford. Route 23 and I-287 lead the way.
Sussex County
Northwest beyond Jefferson, Mount Arlington and Netcong into Sparta, Hopatcong and Byram. Route 15 and Route 206 reach it, and it is among our longest runs.
Warren County
West past Mount Olive and Washington Township into Hackettstown and Allamuchy. I-80 and Route 46 go straight there, and the trip is quoted as a long run.
Hunterdon County
Southwest from Washington Township and Chester toward Califon, Tewksbury and Lebanon. Rural roads, so the dispatcher asks for the nearest crossroad.
Any tow between a Morris County town and one of these counties is the booking fee plus mileage, spoken as one figure. Anything farther, to the shore, New York or another state, becomes a long distance tow on one flatbed with tolls included.
Inside Morris County or just beyond it, the same dispatcher answers.
